Project Management Software Library: about the project management software web site
To make a long story short, about a decade ago--or maybe more now that I come to think about it--I wrote two books about using project management software for Que, "Using Harvard Project Management Software" and "Using Timeline Project Management Software." About five years ago, I also co-authored another couple of books about Microsoft's desktop project management software, Microsoft Project. Those books were "Effective Executive's Guide to Project 2000" and "Project Management Software 2002: Effective Project Management in Eight Steps."
I'm no longer updating these project management software titles, but it seemed a shame to let some pretty good information about project management and project management software go to waste. Accordingly, I decided to provide much of the general information from those project management software books here at this web site.
A general note: If you're a school, professional society, or other nonprofit organization, I will happily allow you to use portions from the books I wrote (including pdfs of the project management primers in those books) at your site. My only two requirements are that you not sell the content and that you provide a hyperlink credit back to this web site. Please contact me for more information and "formal" permission if you want to do this.
